History
Go Vita was established in the early eighties and brings together
under one brand the unique talents and skills of the individual
owners and their staff to ensure a personal approach with all customers.
This combines with the strength of the group to provide networking
and substantial buying power to offer better prices and more services
to all customers. Go Vita has over 120 stores across Australia,
making them easily accessible for most people.
Go Vita's charity support
Go Vita members believe it is appropriate to support a worthwhile cause and we are delighted that Yalari is the recipient of our contributions.
Yalari is a not-for-profit organisation offering secondary educational scholarships to Indigenous children from remote, rural and regional communities from all corners of Australia.
Through Yalari, Indigenous children are given a hand-up to their future through full academic and boarding scholarships at some of the nation's leading boarding schools. Yalari's aim is to create an Australia-wide network of educational opportunities that will bring about long-term generational change for Indigenous children. Founded in 2005 by Indigenous educator Waverley Stanley, Yalari now supports 189 Indigenous children in over 30 partner schools throughout Australia.
'Yalari' is a word from the Birri Gubba Indigenous language group meaning 'child'. Waverley was given permission to use 'Yalari' by Grandfather 'Blokey' Wilson.
What our customers
say about us
“I’m so pleased I found my Go Vita store because
I am always treated with care and respect. They help me with unbiased
and friendly advice on how to enjoy good health. I know I save money
because they pass the benefits of their Go Vita group bulk buying on
to me, plus I get rewarded with gift vouchers because I’m a good
customer. I pick up a lot of interesting information from the
newsletter that they send out and when I need specific help I can always
talk to one of their naturopaths.”
